Pregnancy Update

I decided that every week was too much commitment for me - so I am going to do this every month.  I just went to the doc on Tuesday and here are the results.

Pregnancy Play-by-Play

How Far Along: 17 Weeks

Size of baby: Baby Garrison or Lou Lu (still don't know girl/boy) is as big as a baked potaot

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Although I feel like a house, I have only gained 4 pounds...I know I couldn't believe it either.

Maternity Clothes: I continue to wear anything with an elastic waistband.  I just got a sweet pair of velour sweatpants.  They are pretty awesome.

Gender: January 31st is the big day!
Movement: Still no movement - probably next month.

Sleep: Sleeo is actually getting much better, my back doesn't hurt aas bad, so Andy gets a repreave from the 5 extra pillows in bed with us.

Cravings: Mexican!! And french fries.

Symptoms: Doing much better with the symptoms.  Still pretty tired and feeling very weepy in the last week or so - I cried like a big baby at some commercial about a kid in a wheelchair getting to drive in a soapbox derby - bizarre.  Hopefully that passes soon.

Best Moment this week: Best moment was again hearing the heartbeat.  Last time they couldn't find it and I had to have an ultrasound.  Talk about freaking out - I am pretty sure I had a minor heart attack.  But this time, they got it right away and it was right on target at 149.  I liked that I had only gained 4 pounds too.  :)

Christmas!

So I am a little late to be putting out Christmas pics...but such is life.  Enjoy!

Christmas with G.G. Childress

As close as we got to Santa - I think Bronner's counts though!

What do you think of my Christmas pajamas?

Put me down Uncle John!

James was trying so hard to get a kiss out of Murphy - but he was just not going to participate in the love fest.

James first notices the Kate's cat, Charlie.  Hmm...what is that thing - I need to check that out for myself.

Hey, why are you hiding under the tree cat!?!
I am coming to get you kitty.

All in all James really didn't get into Christmas at all - he liked the new stuff, but didn't care about the paper or ripping things...although he did like the ribbons.
