Professional Pics

I finally broke down and took James to get his 6 month pictures taken.  G-ma Hogan met me in Fort Wayne and we went to Picture People in the mall.  I was nervous that James was going to be cranky and that the pictures were not going to be very good.  I was so wrong on both counts.   James was an angel and the pictures...well you can see for yourself.

I am sending these to Baby Gap...he can be their new model.

We also went on the carousel while we were waiting for our pics.

James & Lydia sittin' in a tree....

The Kassen's came over two weekends ago.  The parents and the babies had a great time.  We can't wait to get together again!

I love this picture...Lydia is comforting James..."What is wrong buddy?"

Easter

As the Final Four was in Indianapolis this year and my beloved Michigan State Spartans were playing, my mother offered to take James so that Andy and I could go out and watch the games. We of course accepted right away...The Spartans lost, but James looked adorable in his Easter outfit and got to hang out with Aunt Kate and Uncle Joe.

Month 5

As is customary in the Garrison household as soon as the sun comes out and the temp rises a bit, the family heads outdoors for some R & R on the deck.  This year was no exception, we put some extra clothes on James and headed out.

Usually Andy and I send out St. Paddy's day cards but this year we fell behind and didn't get them out (shocking I know).  So we decided to take a picture of James in his Irish bib and send it out over email and Facebook.

Not the same as a card I know, but still pretty cute!

James out in his new big-boy stroller.

We went to my parents for their birthdays and got to spend a little extra time with my brother - Uncle John volunteered to feed James and I think immediately regretted it. Can you see the fear in his eyes :)

James likes bananas ALOT!

Then some relaxation with Grandpa and a little snooze.  It is hard being this cute.

The following weekend G & G Garrison came to Indy for a visit. James was so much more animated than their last visit.

This pic was taken by a friend from the baby group.  James is sitting up all by himself!! It was the first time! He also found his feet that day...

Messing around on a Sunday morning....

Month 4

As I am painfully behind on this blog, (I don't know how my other bloggers keep their so up to date) I am going to go back through and do the pictures by how old James is.  This will be Month 4.  Enjoy!!!

Grandpa and Grandma Garrison have come to see James almost every month and it is a great chance for Mom and Dad to get out of the house.  Thankfully Grandma takes some pics of the little man while we are gone.    2/13/2010
Grandpa G. has James!

G & G Hogan decided they wanted James for longer than a weekend so they took him from Wed. to Sunday.  A welcome break for Mom & Dad.  While he was there, they decided he should have a little fashion shoot.
Relaxing before the big gig....

James:  Aren't I adorable!!!
We had a big week at the begining of March (1) we got a new car that will fit us all more comfortably (thank you Joe) and (2) James took his first trip to Chicago for Oscar night.
Prior to picking up the car,we went and saw Aunt Kate's new condo and of course took some pics!

Oscar weekend meant James first trip to Chicago and his introduction to a whole new gaggle of admirers.  James also got to experience the "EL" - you can just see his excitement!

Whenever James gets a little fussy we give him some good old fashioned naked time and Chi-town was no exception. There was no smile before we took the clothes off and then....

Works every time!
