Computer Skills

Our friend David has been relocated to Indianapolis temporarily so it has been great having him over to the house for dinner and watching James recognize who he is now.  This night James decided he was going to help David with a little work.
Then he decided to help mom out the very next day.

Fathers Day Weekend

James had a big weekend - He first spent the weekend with Aunt Kate.  She has been waiting patiently for a weekend alone with James and so we took him to Grand Rapids to hang out.

They had a great time even though James was a bit fussy without Mom around. Then we went over to GG Childress and hung out for a bit and then on to GG Hogans - where for some reason we didn't take any pics.
Andy was very generous and shared his Father's Day with everyone.

Pizza!!

James is getting really good at chewing his food now - instead of just gagging on it. So the other day Andy and I were having pizza and I gave James a hunk of crust to chew on. I thought he would just gum it for a while, but nope he started chowing down...I guess the boy likes pizza! I suppose it makes since, it was Andy's first word!

He was willing to share. :)

New Toys

James got several new toys from his Aunt Colleen recently and he has been eyeing this bike that he is just a bit to small for. Now that he is army crawling though, he makes a beeline for it and always grabs at the wheels, so the other day we decided to put him on it and see what he did...he giggled...a lot. Thank Aunt Col!! Can't wait to try to the bouncy ball bed next.

Trip to the Barber!

So although James has gotten several haircuts in his first 8 months (see January video) he has never officially been to get his haircut. So when it was getting a little shaggy this time, Andy decided it was time to have a boys outing (no pesky moms allowed) to the barber. James did great I was told until they brought out the big clippers and then he started to cry. He looks as handsome as ever!

This is when they started.

In the middle.....
